Meet Precious Plastic, a project that shares tools and techniques for free, both online and offline, to make it easier for you to start recycling plastic and turn the plastic waste into objects you can use.
The project started in 2013 by dave hakkens is now a global community of thousands of volunteers working, remotely or on-site in The Netherlands, towards a solution for our plastic pollution.
They have built a range of plastic-recycling machines that shred plastic, melt it and mould it into usable objects. They don’t sell the machines but show you how to build your own to recycle plastic waste, locally.
